I was born in Italy to Egyptian parents, Sundays were devoted to watching Serie A with my father and taking Arabic classes with my mother. Spaghetti and cumin were equally welcome at our table.
That is why and how telling stories about diversity and human rights became my biggest passion. Whether via books, documentaries or passionate speeches, this still remains my ultimate goal.
